I've calculated nutrients in Bryan Johnson diet using ChatGPT and here is how!
Step 1: I reviewed his protocol
I opened Blue Print Protocol Website. I figured out there are two main sources of his nutrients:
Food
Supplements
For example his Nutty Pudding meal is one of his nutrients source.
And he uses a lot of supplements. Look at this massive list:
All right, there are some food-like supplements like Vitamin-C, and medical-like supplements like Metformin.
Knowing this, we are going to create a full of nutrients that is used by Bryan Johnson.
Step 2: Asking AI to help us
I asked ChatGPT to create a full list of beneficial food ingredients.
Based on this list, I asked it to create an instruction that for every food ingredients list a person must estimate macronutrients, micronutrients, phytonutrients, other benificial compounds, ferments.
And using that instruction I modified it into “Nutrition recognition” instruction. I created a ChatGPT that takes a recipe and return a list of nutrients. Here are two screenshots to show my prompt:
Step 3: Asking AI to predict nutrients
I took Blueprint Recipe book (it’s free!) and asked AI to predict nutrients using raw ingredients from the recipe book.
Likely, Bryan Johnson’s meals are same for every day, except a variation on the lunch.
I put all results into a single spreadsheet.
After that, I calculated an average nutrients list for the variational lunch. And I did the similar procedure for supplements.
There was one detail to mention while I was processing supplements. Bryan takes B-complex bi-weekly, that is why I recalculated his doze into an average daily intake.
And finally, we need to summarize Food-like supplements together with nutrients from daily food consumption. For example, if Bryan takes 425mg vitamin C from food, and 500mg from supplements, the total must be 925mg.
The only question is in my mind:
If Brian Johnson's daily fiber intake is almost 70g, how does he poop? The thing is, it's a lot, a normal person is recommended to eat about 25-40g per day
